Plenty is happening at Port Nikau, with Stage 1A continuing to make impressive progress. Thanks to a sunny start to winter, our building partners have taken full advantage of the conditions, bringing the first homes within the development to life.

Progress across the development

Each week brings visible change across the site. Cambridge Homes at 31 Gunnels Avenue now has its roof, windows and skylight installed, with exterior plaster cladding being worked on. Innovation Homes at 12 Windward Avenue has also reached an exciting stage, with exterior cladding and interior gib sanding progressing, as well as painting set to begin soon. The kitchen is expected to be installed by the end of the month.

GJ Gardner Homes at 30 Waypoint Drive has its roof on and the home fully wrapped, while Sentinel Homes at 9 Windward Avenue has reached a similar stage with roofing, windows and exterior cladding progressing. Over at 1 Windward Avenue, the first storey frames are now standing, giving a glimpse of what will soon become an impressive two-storey home. Meanwhile, Signature Homes has begun work at 25 Waypoint Drive, with a temporary fence in place and the foundation slab expected to be laid soon.
