Port Nikau Community Day a huge success

The inaugural Port Nikau Community Day was a tremendous success, with more than 3,500 people joining us to celebrate the growing waterfront community. The incredible turnout has already sparked excitement for what looks set to become an annual event.

A day to remember

The event also marked the 10th anniversary of Touch a Truck, with dozens of rigs creating an impressive convoy to kick off the day. A total of 95 runners completed the Port Nikau 5 kilometre fun run, while cyclists enjoyed exploring the scenic coastal cycleways throughout the development.

There was something for everyone, from boat trips to Matakohe Limestone Island, supported by the Port Nikau Marine team, Ocean Diversity and Coastguard, to food stalls, bouncy castles, disc golf, and tours of the new Stage 1 residential sections.

Thank you for joining us

It was fantastic to see so many people enjoying everything Port Nikau has to offer. Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make our Community Day such a memorable occasion. We look forward to welcoming you all back again in the future.
