As Port Nikau expands and grows so does the pool of businesses looking at moving to Whangārei. New Zealand’s largest Isuzu truck dealer is expanding in Whangārei with plans for a new $12 million facility in the Port Nikau development.

Tenders for the big construction will open soon with work due to begin mid-2022 with hopes that construction will finish and the dealership will be fully operational by early 2023. The new facility will also bring in new jobs with the current team of three expanding to a team of 12.

With prime land secured in Port Nikau close to important customers, Isuzu is moving forward with construction very quickly.
