Strong interest from business community

With new sections and house and land packages hitting the market this month, the Northland business community is showing very strong interest in Port Nikau, as a key development in the anticipated future growth of the Whangārei District.

A Business After 5 (BA5) event at Port Nikau, run by the Northland Chambers of Commerce, this week sold out in record time, demonstrating unprecedented interest from the local business community. A second event is being planned later this month for those who missed out. At the event, local businesses heard a first-hand recount of the journey to date for Port Nikau Development owners, Clare and Tony Davies-Colley. The couple own the development alongside another local family, the Heatleys.

The Davies-Colleys also discussed the exciting new opportunities available in the residential space, with sections in Stage 1A Arataki now available, along with House and Land Packages being sold through local building companies including G.J. Gardner and Sentinel Homes.
